If you are starting out in the game for the first time, odds are you might be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of stuff there is to do. To get the necessary funding that we need, today we’re looking at looting supplies that come from areas that are heavily populated by players engaging in PvP combat.
Essentially, this will involve grabbing what is left over from PvP battles. There are certain locations in Old School Runescape that are dedicated to player vs. player combat. This is where melee, ranged, and magic all collide in epic skirmishes to determine who is truly the strongest. As for what is dropped, you are predominantly looking at weapons and armour, but there are also other supplies to be found.
So if you see someone being butchered, use such a crisis to create opportunity. Since inventories only hold 28 slots, players aren’t always going to be able to claim their spoils of war. What you can do here is simply bide your time, and wait for loot to appear. The winner of the duel is going to claim what they want, which is something that we will have to accept. After all, why shouldn’t they take what they have earned in glorious battle? That said, once they’ve taken their fair share, there will still be a whole bunch of items for you to pick up. These items can then be sold on for OSRS gold that you have been looking for.
Of course, knowing how looting works isn’t enough. In order for us to take full advantage of looting, we are going to need to know the best places for us to do so.
As mentioned, we should be looking in PvP worlds of course, and the populated towns in these worlds are great places to check out. So, head to the likes of Edgeville, Seers Village, and Varrock to get to where you need to be for looting.
Other places worth mentioning include deep Wilderness teleport locations, which can be very effective for finding loot. The Edgeville Bounty Hunter minigame is handy too, as are the Revenant Caves. These are all prime locations for you to pillage the spoils of battle, so head over to them at your earliest convenience.
Where you are and what you have achieved so far in OSRS isn’t something that should be taken into consideration when trying out this method. If you are new to the game, then you don’t have to be worried about being a veteran to see if this method would work. To put it simply, it is a very useful and fast way for you to earn OSRS gold. Another thing that might be putting you off is the requirements. This is again something you don’t need to worry about. There aren’t any requirements for being able to adopt this method whatsoever. It may sound like a daunting way for you to get gold when considering the premise, but it is actually a lot easier than it seems.
The number of ways to earn OSRS GP in Old School Runescape can be overwhelming for sure. That is only a fraction of what the game entrails too, so you’re more than likely being bombarded with information if this is your first time starting out. The great thing about OSRS however is that you have the freedom of choice. Sure, there’s a lot of information to take in. But there are also a lot of different paths for you to traverse, and you are in complete control of which one you take.
Overall, if you’re new or a veteran, looting is something you should definitely check out for some fast OSRS gold. It’s free of requirements, and pretty easy for you to do, so what more could you ask for? Head to the PvP worlds and start looting.
