Recessed lighting is light fixtures that are installed in the ceilings and has light directly shining from the ceiling downward like a broad floodlight. It gives sleek and modern look to your room.

  1. Recessed lights are very sleek and hidden and don’t take up too much of space like ceiling lights. 
  2. It can make appear your room more spacious and bigger than it really is.
  3. Recessed lights are perfect to showcase the special element of your room. 
  4. Recessed lights are the best option for areas that will have a lot of moisture like in bathroom.
  5. You can use recessed lights in many different rooms where ceiling lights does not perform well, like basements, kitchen, hallways, and room with a low ceiling.

  1. Recessed lights are cheaper but you will need several to illuminate the entire space, you may have to pay more installation charges and more lights may increase you electricity bill also.

  3. It does not add much visual appeal to your room.
