When we consider the MateBook as a laptop or a tablet for personal or light-duty office use, we refer to it as a good for the prosumer segment of our community about Laptop Tablet

A versatile purchase is made for those who would use it both as a laptop tablet for thousands of people. This is one of them, due to the dimensions of 12 inches, and due to the fact that it has an Intel Core m processor.

Build and Design

In many ways, the MateBook is the most modern and light Windows tablets on the market today’s. Since it is completely metal on the back and glass on the front, the MateBook is up to the task of looking professional, regardless of whether customers prefer the grey or golden variants. The region around the display is always white, as well as the backdrop and sides are painted with the same colour. This is not ideal because we want to retain the backdrop-blackened bricks. They are less important to overlook.

Display

With a 12-inch IPS display, the MateBook has the screen size of a regular 15-inch notebook. It has a resolution of 2160 x 1440 x 1080, which gives it the TabPro S-like density of 216 pixels per inch.

Although we found that this screen looks amazing in an office setting with crisp text and bright colours, however, the results vary somewhat if you have lights off. It works well in the shade, but does not have the characteristics that support outdoor use. All conventional LCDs function well when kept out of direct sunlight, and do not lose any image quality due to that factor.

Here in the real world, our MateBook experiment shows that the display is good for both technical and personal use. but on the important thing to note is that a 12-inch screen isn’t ideal for every day workstation use, and as a result, you’ll want to connect an external monitor while you work at the office.

Ports

To make these sacrifices in order to make this super-slim machine, Huawei’s designers had to make others. In particular, almost every form of port was excluded except for USB-C and 3.5mm audio was removed. This one port on the right edge is used to charge and link to any other devices that are connected via a cable, including keyboards, mouses, monitors, and more this means that almost anyone who uses a MateBook would need a USB hub because of the additional peripherals they attach to the tablet via USB.

This machine has an at least one-sized USB type C-to-shaped connector and includes regular USB devices, printer, and peripheral adapters, which means that means users would be able to use their thumb drives, mice, and other devices with this setup. We were unable to charge this tablet using a USB-A cable connected adapter, but there is a chance you might be other devices around that can do so try checking on the USB ports on other devices should be done first.

Portfolio Keyboard

Black or brown-looking portfolio can be substituted for this one if you’d like to buy a lighter shade of this accessory. It additionally provides additional cover for the MateBook, which is in the form of a tablet holder so the screen can be set upright for handwriting, for easier viewing when typing. It presents two different views: one of the same subject at 110° and the other at 120°. This can be conveniently used on a desk or table in any one configuration, but when set at the 120° and kept in the lap, it can also be rolled up to expand again.

Performance

Both a sixth-generation Intel “Core M” processor and an eighth-generation “Core I are used in the MateBook look like laptop tablet. At the time of this writing, the company is offering the CPU with a 2.2GHz Core m or 2.7GHz Core m7 processor, and it is anticipated to announce a 3.1GHz Core m model soon.

Concretely, Huawei’s package is capable of handling daily tasks, but is not well suited for advanced work like video and graphics-intensive video editing or video-intensive gaming. A short way to measure of its success is that Windows 10 takes less than 15 seconds to load and reboot.

Aluminum on the test device gets hot when the device is heavily loaded with heavy tasks, as video rendering on the CPU would have to use a vent rather than a fan.
